Plugging his upcoming movie "Men In Black 3" to kick off the night's episode, Josh Brolin channeled a young Tommy Lee Jones to start off his hosting efforts on yesterday's (April 1 4) episode of "Saturday Night Live".
The 44-year-old actor noted that he was contractually obligated to keep his goatee as official spokesman for the 1990’s in the monologue which then saw him channel his "MIB3" co-star, during which he was joined by Will Smith (played by Jay Pharoah).
During the course of the show, a favorite clip was 'Game of Thrones Behind The Scenes' starring Andy Samberg, Taran Killam and Bobby Moynihan; while the 'Laser Cats' segment also was lauded, as it featured a surprise appearance by legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg.
Other sketches making up the consistent installment of "SNL" included 'Booker T Washington High Prom' with Brolin taking on the role of a drunk teacher, and a Bill Hader, Fred Armisen and Kate McKinnon spearheaded piece titled 'The Californians'.
Joining Josh on last night's "Saturday Night Live" was musical Goyte (aka Wouter "Wally" De Backer), who was joined by Kimbra for ““Somebody I Used To Know” while later performing the song “Eyes Wide Open" during the course of the show.
