Celine Dion Cancels More Shows On Doctors Orders

Those of you hoping to catch one of Celine Dion’s shows soon are just going to have to wait. The singer is under strict orders from her doctor to rest her voice. Celine was set to do some shows at Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace but her doctor has put the kibosh on her plans, for good reason of course. Apparently Dion is suffering a virus that is causing her vocal chords to get inflamed. Having inflammation in the vocal chords is not a good thing for a singer, as I am sure you can imagine. That being said she needs to rest her money maker for at least six to eight weeks per her doctor. One of the producers with the show, Christi Nelson has reportedly shared that all shows will resume on June 9th. This is of course providing that Dion’s voice is ready to go by then. As you may or may not be aware at the beginning of this week it was announced that the “My Heart Will Go On” singer would be canceling her shows through Monday March 5th, clearly the situation has gotten worse than anyone originally thought.
