Called ?emaciated? and ?skin and bones? on the web after singing the national anthem at the NCAA basketball championship on April 4, LeAnn Rimes was quick to defend herself, tweeting, ?Good lord! I do not work out too much nor do I starve myself. I?m so over this and moving on.? But she didn?t move on. Instead, she kept bickering with her Twitter followers to prove she doesn?t starve, even listing everything she just ate. Then, she bizarrely tweeted a picture of herself in a bikini from the navel down (which only seemed to prove that she?s indeed thin). So for someone who?s supposedly so sick of the topic, why does LeAnn keep talking about it?
Relationship expert Dr. Gilda Carle says LeAnn may prefer that the public focus on her body instead of her personal life. LeAnn attracted media attention because of her affair with a married man, adds Dr. Gilda, referring to her fianc�, Eddie Cibrian, 37, who she met on the set of the 2009 film Northern Lights. ?This is a different kind of attention, and it may be preferable to the homewrecker label.?
Unfortunately, it?s unlikely LeAnn will change her attitude (or her diet) anytime soon. After all, Eddie recently filmed the pilot for the sexually charged TV show Playboy in Chicago alongside a bevy of beautiful women. ?She is so worried Eddie will be tempted,? an insider close to the singer tells In Touch. ?So she?s making sure she keeps herself looking sexy at all times.? Sadly, she seems to have gone way too far.
