Meet Crest 3D White 2 Hour Express Whitestrips' new spokesperson... Whitney Port!

Good choice, Crest: The ever-lovely Whitney Port — and her gleaming smile, of course! — is a perfect pick to represent Crest's new 3D White 2 Hour Express Whitestrips! In Touch caught up with the former reality TV star and burgeoning designer on her involvement with Crest, her style, East Coast vs. West Coast fashion and more!

How did you team up with Crest?
I have always used Crest products and I've been using the Crest Whitestrips for a while, but now with the 2 Hour Express Whitestrips, it's so easy for me! It's that extra thing you don't really want to think about, but everyone should because, well, they are your teeth and you should want them to be white! Honestly, the best part about the Whitestrips is they actually work and they last for three months -- which saves a lot of money, too!

Do you get a professional whitening treatment in addition to using the Whitestrips?
I've never done Zoom! or a whitening treatment before! And I drink coffee every morning and I like to enjoy a glass of red wine! It's seriously the Crest Whitestrips that keep my teeth white and bright.

Let's talk about your skin — which looks amazing! What's your secret?
I use a line of products from the little shop in Santa Monica called the Finer Skin Institute. I use Linda Finer's whole range of products. She's my absolute skin go-to.

What about your style? Has it changed much since you left N.Y.?
My style really depends on where I am. I do really love fashion and when I'm in N.Y., I just want to get more dressed up. I don't know, maybe it's a state of mind? In Los Angeles, if you are too dressed up, people look at you weird — not that anyone should ever care about that — but you can play with fashion more in N.Y. because the environment calls for it. Plus, people are more accepting of being unique and creative in N.Y. — and that's not really the case in LA.

What's going on with your fashion line?
I'm still trekking along and building it. It's definitely a really tough industry to break into, but we just finished my website, whitneyeve.com, and I'm launching a more affordable line called WE by Whitney Eve, which will launch in Spring 2012. But everything in the collection will be under $100!

That is amazing! Is the collection a play off of your personal style?
I always cater my looks to what my mood is, so it's pretty eclectic. I love vintage and try to mix a lot of old and new. I also love the masculine and feminine combination. But my Spring collection is definitely more floral and feminine.

Let's talk hair! How do you keep your color looking so amazing — it's always the perfect ombré!
Thank you! Well, I see my colorist, Johnny Ramirez at the Neil George Salon in LA (FYI: Johnny also works out of the Marie Robinson Salon in N.Y. every other month!). I usually see him once a month and I just let him do what he wants because I know it always turns out great!

Thanks, Whitney!
